LISA

The River Livers are an original Alaskanna Grass band

out of Girdwood, Alaska.

We play our own originals and the occasional covers

but with our own jazzy-grass twist.

Our songs are written with important things to say or offer  new twists on fun music we love. Warm and witty lyrics and driving guitar  from Appalaskan Jess with the bang & bow electric stand-up bass of Phil Hawkins, and composed purple fiddle melodies from Lisa Miles & Bryan MacClarence bringing a variety of instruments, talent and experience.

We're honored when we have our original drummer, Alyssa Overby, and sometimes Will Balcao, and to have a core ensemble filled with song writers and caring hearts to create music with!
